Seven years ago, Amanda arrived on the Cape from Connecticut for what was supposed to be a summer job -- and turned out to be the move of a lifetime. Having vacationed here for many years, she already knew the lure of days at the National Seashore, shakes from the Hot Chocolate Sparrow, and mini-golf by the Rotary.

She quickly discovered that the Cape lifestyle also made cornerstones of the best parts of vacation: the unhurried pace and laid-back attitude, devoting time to your passions, measuring success by how often you got to the beach or out on the water.

So a summer gig turned into full-time residency. And while it wasn’t the easiest path to take, Amanda loved that real estate combined her favorite parts of her previous jobs. Helping people understand something new and guiding them to their goals, from teaching high school. Anticipating needs and tailoring service to the individual, from bartending and waiting tables. Add to that the chance to explore the Cape, one home at a time, and to form lasting relationships with diverse and wonderful clients – many of whom have become friends over the years.

Now a homeowner in Brewster, Amanda loves the unique community that is the Cape. She has prioritized volunteering her time for amazing organizations such as the Cape Cod Foundation, the Community Development Partnership, and the United Way, in order to stay informed about current challenges and to contribute to improving life for year-rounders across the Cape.

When she isn’t educating clients on the local market, or navigating the many hurdles of buying and selling real estate, you can find her walking the trails in Nickerson State Park, watching the tide recede over the Brewster flats, and sampling the cuisine of every local restaurant (it’s research! For work!). She has a fierce passion for town meetings, practicing calligraphy, and finding exactly the right emoji for all her text messages.

Whether you’re looking to find your dream home on Cape, or sell and move on to a new chapter, Amanda gets that the journey isn’t always the one you planned on – and can help you reach your destination, no matter where that may be.
