Cape Real Estate Remains Afloat

The Barnstable County Registrar of Deeds is quoted in the Cape Cod Times as saying of the real estate market in 2015: “it’s not handstands and flips, but it was a nice finish to the year.  It continues the trend of the last few years of modest increases in sales activity and value.”   Month to month comparisons were unreliable due to many factors including the unusual weather.  The year ended with individual sales value up 1.5 percent.  Sales volume was up 4.5 percent.  The median sales price went from $325,000 to $330,000.  All in all, 2015 was solid making 2016 the perfect time to jump into the Cape Cod market.  Check out today’s best waterfront deal by clicking here.
